Flower Power

Shortly after we got engaged, I was introduced by accident to the crazy world of wedding blogging. I became obsessed. We had made no real plans for our wedding, but I found a picture and I was in love with the idea. FI said OK! So then we found a big bunch of vintage soda bottles on craigslist for super cheap. We bought them based on the whim of the idea I had seen, and this became our flower and centerpiece inspiration.  Now many months later, I just decided to dig these bottles out of the basement. There are some really cool bottles. So cool, infact that FI is worried that guests will steal them. I am however, worried because the bottles are dirty and gross. So I've been cleaning them. Its pretty impossible to scrub a dub dub down in the bottom of a crusty old soda bottle. Some are just gonna be a little dirty, and I am ok with that, But Goll-Dangit, they are gonna look RAD! Between our garden, and both of our parents gardens we are hoping to grow enough Zinnias and some other random wild flowers, to supply enough for all bottles.  We shall see. If need be, we will supplement with Farmers Market bouquets.
